Songen generates instrumental MIDI loops in a chosen style, building lead, chord, bass, and drum parts that users can refine track by track or section by section. Its on-device engine creates notes from scratch rather than drawing on premade loops, and generation does not require an internet connection. Users can edit notes, regenerate selected parts, and work in a piano roll that highlights chord notes. Songen offers nearly 50 styles, including Trap, Amapiano, Lo-fi, House, and Cinematic.
