Overview

Dream pairs a text prompt with a chosen style to create an AI painting in seconds. That makes it a practical choice for quickly exploring visual directions without relying on a prompt alone to determine the look. The website also generates video from text or images, extending the product beyond still artwork.

Reference images and image editing offer more ways to guide image creation. WOMBO says its content filters are intended to comply with App Store policies and support user safety. Commercial use is limited, so Dream is a less suitable choice when a project depends on broad commercial rights.

Key features

Prompt-led image generation: Describe an image and choose an art style to get a painting in seconds. The website showcases options including Baroque, Cartoon, Mechanical, Minimalism, The Cut, and Whimsical, making it easier to explore distinct visual treatments.
Reference images and editing: Users can bring reference images into the process and edit images, providing more direction than prompt-only generation.
Video and photo transformation: The website supports text-to-video and image-to-video generation. The iOS app also transforms photos into AI art and animates photos into videos, a useful extension for users who want to work from existing pictures.
API access: The Dream API supports requests such as higher resolutions, custom aspect ratios, and generating many images at once. This is more relevant to developers or higher-volume workflows than casual use.
Sharing: The iOS listing describes sharing artwork with friends, family, and social media, which suits personal creative use.

Pricing

Dream has a free tier and paid subscription options. The free plan is free and covers AI image and video generation, but no quota is stated. It is the sensible starting point for casual exploration, though the absence of a stated cap makes it difficult to judge how far it will stretch.

Dream Premium (Weekly): custom pricing. A weekly billing option may suit short-term use, but its cost cannot be compared with the monthly plan.
Dream Premium (Monthly): 9.99 USD per month.
Dream Premium (Yearly): custom pricing. The yearly term may fit continuing use, but its price is not given.
Standard Yearly - 3 Day Free Trial: 99.99 USD per year, with a 3 day free trial. The trial gives users a brief opportunity to assess the plan before paying, while the annual price requires a larger commitment than monthly billing.

Refund eligibility is particularly restrictive: a subscription refund is available only if no art was generated during that subscription period. Anyone intending to evaluate the service by creating artwork should not count on a refund afterward. For refund requests or other assistance, WOMBO directs customers to support@wombo.ai.

Platforms

Dream supports Android, iOS, web, and API access. The web offering includes video generation, while the iOS app adds photo transformation and sharing. The API’s support for higher resolutions, custom aspect ratios, and batch generation makes it the more relevant route for programmatic or larger-volume use.

Who it's for

Dream is a good fit for people who want to try different art styles, turn prompts or reference images into artwork, or animate images across web and mobile. Developers and high-volume users may value the API’s resolution, aspect-ratio, and batch options. It is a weaker choice for creators who need unrestricted commercial use or who want a refund after generating art.

Account deletion has an important qualification: WOMBO says personal account data is deleted on request, but likenesses and images in animated generated videos continue to be stored in its database. Users concerned about retaining that material should weigh this before creating animated videos.

Pros and cons

Pro: Text, reference images, and image editing give users several ways to shape still-image generation.
Pro: Text-to-video and image-to-video add animation, and the API offers higher-resolution, custom-aspect-ratio, and batch-generation requests.
Con: Commercial use is limited, making Dream a poor fit when broad usage rights are essential.
Con: A refund is eligible only if no art was generated during the subscription period, limiting the value of a paid trial for users who want to test by creating.
Con: Deleting personal account data does not remove likenesses and images in animated generated videos from WOMBO’s database.

Verdict

Choose Dream by WOMBO for quick, style-led image creation with video generation and API access across web and mobile. Its breadth makes it appealing for personal experimentation and varied creative workflows. Look elsewhere if broad commercial rights, a forgiving refund policy, or deletion of generated-video likenesses and images is central to your decision.
