In their own words

DroidCam

DroidCam turns an Android or iOS phone into a webcam for computer chat and video production software. It connects over WiFi or USB and describes its video transfer as low latency. Compatible programs listed include Zoom, Discord, Microsoft Teams, and OBS Studio. Its OBS plugin connects a phone camera directly to OBS without a separate client. Image controls include exposure, focus, zoom, color adjustment, rotation, flipping, and mirroring, plus custom text, image, or video overlays. The PC webcam supports up to 1080p, while OBS integration supports up to 4K. The free plan provides 480p SD video without a watermark; HD and other Pro features require an upgrade. The listed Pro Upgrade is $4.99 a month, with the price shown by Apple for the US storefront. DroidCam supports Windows, macOS, and Linux computers alongside Android and iOS phones. Its privacy policy says it does not collect personal information and that audio and video streams are normally contained within the local network, while noting that third-party analytics and advertising tools may collect usage or device-related information.

ManyCam

ManyCam is virtual camera and live streaming software for conferencing apps, streaming platforms, and remote learning tools. It can blur, remove, or replace backgrounds with images or video sources without a green screen. Sources include webcams, videos, images, screen captures, apps, and web sources, with plans listing up to 200 sources. ManyCam can provide a virtual camera to Zoom, Webex, Microsoft Teams, and Google Meet, and broadcast simultaneously to Facebook, YouTube, Twitch, and other RTMP destinations. Production features include picture-in-picture layers, source switching, screen capture, recording, titles, a whiteboard, and NDI support. The free download has limited features. Standard costs $59 a year and lists one device, four video sources, Full HD quality, and one RTMP stream. Studio is listed at $79 a year, and Premium at $99 a year; both include 4K quality and unlimited RTMP streams. ManyCam lists Android, iOS, macOS, and Windows, with desktop support specifically stated for macOS and Windows. It says video processing happens on the user's machine and it does not store audio, video, or images on its servers.
