Eloqui is an audio-first language-learning app built around spoken conversations with AI tutors. It runs on Android and iOS and offers English, Spanish, French, Italian, German, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, and Mandarin. The app lists 18 culturally matched tutors, with male and female voices for each language. Learners can speak freely, receive corrections during conversations, and use role-play situations such as ordering food, visiting a café, or interviewing for a job. Tutors explain grammar through conversational examples, provide pronunciation feedback, and model correct speech. Spaced repetition brings back vocabulary from conversations, especially words a learner forgets. Practice adapts to stated level and difficulties, while the app tracks streaks, vocabulary milestones, and progress. Eloqui is free to start, with the first conversation free before a subscription offer. The yearly subscription includes a 3-day free trial. Listed prices are $9.99 a month, $22.99, paid once for three months, and $69.99 a year.
