In their own words

Dustloop

Dustloop is a free, publicly editable web wiki about competitive air-dashing fighting games, mainly titles from Arc System Works. Its instructional pages cover movement, defense, frame data and character attributes, with the aim of helping players improve. Listed games include Guilty Gear, BlazBlue, DNF Duel, Dragon Ball FighterZ, Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising and Persona 4 Arena Ultimax Remaster. A general strategy section discusses ideas such as rushdown, turtling, frame traps and offensive fuzzy guard for readers who understand basic game mechanics. Pages support matchup search and patch or version filters. Dustloop runs on MediaWiki and is written in English. Users can create an account; most pages become editable after the account has existed for 24 hours. The community-funded and operated site links to a Discord and community portal. Dustloop says it is unofficial and not endorsed by or affiliated with featured developers. Its history traces back to gamecombos.com and a move to the Dustloop domain in 2006.

Spawning Tool

Spawning Tool is a free site for sharing StarCraft 2 replays and build orders, with tools for learning from game data. Build browsing supports filters such as race, matchup, build type, difficulty, patch, contributor, and playable-build format. Replay search can narrow results by players, events, maps, leagues, game length, date, patch, and VOD availability. Research pages summarize replay data with tag counts and win rates by game time and matchup, and let users explore players, units, abilities, events, and other match details. Users can upload individual .SC2replay files or .zip replay packs, add optional VOD links and tags, and browse downloadable tournament replay packs. A replay-pack upload requires login. The Overwolf Build Advisor follows a selected build order in a live in-game overlay, synchronizing steps with the game timer. Spawning Tool says there is currently no charge to upload replays or use its data. The team accepts bug reports, feature requests, and help questions by email or through @spawningtool on Twitter. Replay data can be provided in a usable format on request, but server and direct database access are not offered.
