In their own words
EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard
EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard scans storage locations for lost files, then lets users preview and recover results. Listed sources include hard drives, external disks, SSDs, USB drives, memory and CF/SD cards, cameras, RAID, and NAS. The product supports more than 1,000 file formats, memory-card and RAID recovery, bootable recovery, and file previews; it can also repair corrupt MP4, MOV, JPEG, and JPG files during recovery. A free edition allows recovery up to 2GB. The trial scans and previews files, but recovering them requires the full version. Listed applications include Data Recovery Wizard for Windows and Mac and MobiSaver for iOS and Android. Supported systems include Windows 11/10/8/7, several Windows Server versions, and macOS 13.x–10.6. Paid options include a Pro One-Week License for $39.95 per once with no renewal fees; the One-Month plan is $69.95 a month. Software recovery will not work on physically damaged drives or devices.
SecureRecovery
SecureRecovery analyzes storage media to find files that were deleted, reformatted, corrupted, or made inaccessible. It supports HDDs, SSDs, flash media, partitions, and binary image files, with file-system support for NTFS, HFS/HFS+, FAT16/32, exFAT, and APFS. Search tools, recoverable-file previews, and recovery-probability estimates help identify possible files to restore; media-health analysis, imaging, and multiple-file recovery are also included. It can recover compressed and encrypted files, including alternative data streams on NTFS partitions. The Windows version supports BitLocker, Windows Storage Spaces, dynamic disks, Linux LVM/LVM2 and mdadm RAID, Intel software RAID, and VMDK, VHD, VHDX, and VDI formats. The macOS version supports encrypted APFS recovery, Apple Disk Utility RAID, CoreStorage, FileVault, Fusion Drive, and read-only DMG files. A demo lists data that can be recovered so users can evaluate results before buying a licence. Standard allows one installation; Business allows three. Licences cost $39.95 as a one-time purchase for Windows and $49.95, paid once for Mac. The software addresses logical corruption, not physically damaged devices.
