Overview

Easy-Commission combines customer relationship management and invoicing with sales commission calculations and statements. It is aimed chiefly at smaller companies with variable sales pay; its flexible commission rules are a strength, but hosted-only deployment and limits on general data export may rule it out for some teams.

Key features

Commission calculations and crediting

Commission plans can use flat rates, tiers, profit, draws, bonuses, referral fees and royalties. Transactions can be shared among payees or credited to a manager for an override. Custom rules, plan administration, clawbacks and adjustments extend that flexibility, making the product better suited to varied pay arrangements than a system limited to one commission rate. Quota attainment tracking is not supported, so teams that rely on it should look elsewhere.

Statements, payroll and access

Representatives can view commission statements online. Administrators can export statements as PDF or Excel files, email them as links and use payroll export. Role-based controls can restrict access by object or table and by record ownership, which helps separate access to customer and compensation records. The mobile site supports statements, transaction search, performance dashboards and support contact actions.

Imports and data handling

Listed integrations include QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online data import and export, Xero data import, and Excel or CSV import. Some QuickBooks export restrictions vary by edition. General data export is unsupported, despite those specific integration options, so buyers should confirm that their required records can leave the system through an allowed route. Easy-Commission is hosted and cannot be installed on a customer's premises.

Pricing

Easy-Commission has a free plan, paid plans from $2.95/user/mo (annual), and a 15-day trial.

Economy

Economy requires at least five users and includes three support cases per year. Recurring commissions are unavailable, data import and export are unavailable, and ads can appear. Those restrictions make it a poor fit for teams that need recurring payouts, data movement or an ad-free workflow; the minimum seat count also weakens its appeal to very small teams.

Regular

Regular requires at least two users and includes 12 support cases per year, role-based security, Page Designer, Menu Designer and Workflow. It is the more capable choice for teams that need those administrative tools or more support, though its price is custom pricing and the two-user minimum still applies. Subscription pricing is billed annually.

Platforms

Easy-Commission runs on the web, Android and iOS. Its hosted model means it is not an option for organizations that require on-premises installation.

Who it's for

Smaller organizations with multiple commission rules, shared transaction credit, manager overrides and online statement delivery are the clearest fit. It is less suitable for teams that need quota attainment tracking, general-purpose data export, on-premises hosting or Economy's unavailable recurring commissions and import/export functions.

Pros and cons

Pros: Supports a broad range of commission methods, from tiers and profit-based calculations to draws, referral fees and royalties.
Pros: Shared credit, manager overrides, adjustments and clawbacks address complex payee arrangements.
Pros: Online statements, PDF and Excel exports, email links and payroll export support statement delivery and payroll workflows.
Cons: No quota attainment tracking, which leaves a gap for teams that need to monitor performance against quotas.
Cons: General data export is unsupported, while Economy also lacks import/export; this can constrain migration and ongoing data workflows.
Cons: Economy has a five-user minimum, three annual support cases and possible ads; Regular has a two-user minimum and custom pricing.
Cons: Hosted-only deployment excludes buyers that require installation on their own premises.

Verdict

Choose Easy-Commission if a smaller sales organization needs varied commission calculations, shared crediting and statement delivery in a hosted system. Its breadth of compensation rules is the main reason to choose it; look elsewhere if quota tracking, general data export, on-premises hosting or clear plan pricing is essential.
