In their own words
EasyCut Pro
EasyCut Pro is sign-design and vinyl-cutting software for making signs, decals, logos and stickers on Windows and macOS. Its design tools include shape drawing and editing, text layout, node editing and a built-in library of over 350 shapes. It imports vector formats such as DXF, PLT, PDF, AI, SVG, EPS, WPC, GSD, PNG, SCUT and FCM, and can trace JPG, PNG, GIF, BMP and TIFF images into cuttable vector paths. Production tools include rhinestone design, nesting, welding, tiling, weeding borders, layers, cut-by-color, contour cutting and cutting-order control. The maker says it supports hundreds of vinyl cutters, including models from Graphtec, Roland, Mimaki, GCC and USCutter. It can use TrueType fonts installed on the computer. A 15-day demo places two horizontal lines through projects as a watermark; entering a purchased serial number removes it on future cutting projects. Each platform license costs $199.95 as a one-time purchase and is described as a one-time purchase with free lifetime updates.
MacSign
MacSign is paid software for designing and producing vinyl signs, stencils, thermal transfers, rhinestone heat transfers, window tint and paint protection films. Its tools draw and transform vector artwork, trace scanned images, edit lettering and organize work in layers. Rhinestone layouts can place vector stones along paths or inside shapes, with adjustable fills and spacing that recalculate after artwork changes. MacSign supports vinyl cutting and print-and-cut workflows, including printing through a RIP before contour cutting. Multiple plotters can have separate job queues, and cutters can communicate over Raw TCP/IP. Plug-ins transfer designs from Adobe Illustrator and CorelDRAW and add supported registration marks. Documented cutter technologies include Summa OPOS and FlexCut, Graphtec ARMS, and Mutoh EPOS and cut-through, depending on equipment and feature. Plans are Lite, Cut and Full, with no prices listed.
