In their own words
EasyMorph
EasyMorph is a visual data automation platform for building and running data workflows. Its drag-and-drop tools support trigger-based, scheduled, and exploratory data transformation, as well as data-oriented task management. EasyMorph Desktop runs only on 64-bit Windows; EasyMorph Hub runs Desktop-designed workflows from an on-premises installation, including on a cloud-based virtual machine. The platform lists connections to more than 50 enterprise tools, including Excel, Airtable, Google Drive, Power BI, Zapier, Tableau, databases, and Slack. The free Desktop edition does not expire, can be used in a commercial organization, and has no monthly run or data-volume limits, but each project is limited to 20 actions and 20 loop iterations, with HTTP GET-only REST API access. It includes all integrations. Desktop Pro is $75/user/mo billed annually, and a 30-day trial is available. The free edition has no technical support beyond the community forum.
Frictionless Framework
Frictionless Framework is a free, open-source Python framework for describing, extracting, validating, and transforming tabular data. It can infer, edit, and save metadata such as table descriptions and field types, then validate tables, resources, and datasets and produce configurable reports. For data preparation, it can clean, reshape, and transfer data through pipeline and lower-level interfaces. It is available as a Python library and a command-line interface, and requires Python 3.8 or later. Supported formats include CSV, Excel, JSON, and SQL; CSV, Excel, and JSON are available by default. Its pluggable architecture supports custom checks and formats, as well as compressed files. The AWS plugin can read from and write to S3, while the CKAN portal feature can load and publish packages from a CKAN data management system. The Frictionless Framework plan costs nothing; installation is with pip. The software is distributed under the MIT License, whose terms permit use, copying, modification, distribution, sublicensing, and sale. The license provides no warranty.
