In their own words
easyPDF Cloud API
easyPDF Cloud API is a cloud service for generating, converting, and automating PDF work. It handles Word, Excel, PowerPoint, HTML, and image files, and can be called from .NET, Node.js, PHP, and Java. Listed conversions include those formats and plain text to PDF, as well as PDF to Word; files can also be combined into a PDF. Users can arrange operations into workflows, for example converting multiple documents and merging the results. Dropbox folders can be used as conversion sources and destinations. Registered free accounts include 2 OCR pages, with more available through separate credit packages. The API uses OAuth 2.0 client credentials and requires HTTPS requests. The API guide says users should contact the maker to obtain production status for full REST API access. Free Guest and Basic plans are listed, alongside paid annual subscriptions and one-time API credit packages. Basic includes 50MB storage and a 5MB maximum upload; Professional includes 200MB storage and a 25MB maximum upload. The homepage says BCL Technologies' easyPDFCloud is part of the PDFTron family of companies.
Zamzar API
Zamzar API is a REST-based HTTP service for adding file conversion to mobile, web, or desktop applications. It supports more than 1,100 conversion types across documents, video, images, audio, eBooks, CAD, 3D, and compressed files. Files can come from a user's machine or be reachable through HTTP, FTP, SFTP, or Amazon S3. Zamzar says its cloud service can handle demand from one file to 10,000. Developers can use official Java, PHP, and Python SDKs, plus code samples for C#, cURL, Node.js, and other languages. The free Test plan costs nothing, requires no card, and includes 100 credits, a 1 MB maximum file size, one-day file storage, and a three-day support response. Paid plans start at $25 /month. Successful conversions use at least one credit, and unused monthly credits do not roll over. Zamzar describes the API as a conversion service, not a CDN; converted files should be retrieved through the API. Accounts include free sandbox testing subject to file-size and job-count limits.
