In their own words
Echo Live
Echo Live changes microphone audio in real time through AI voice conversion and digital signal processing. Its desktop app includes AI voices, live effects, a soundboard, and Voice Lab for making custom effects. The soundboard imports WAV, MP3, OGG, and FLAC files; users can reuse boards and assign hotkeys to individual sounds. Changed audio can go through a virtual microphone or cable for use in Discord, games, OBS, Zoom, and Google Meet.
Echo Lite is a Chrome extension that processes effects, AI voices, and soundboard mixing on-device and connects to supported calling websites. Separate Android and iOS apps offer speech-to-speech conversion, text-to-speech, and voice effects. Echo supports DirectML GPU acceleration on Windows and CoreML on Apple Silicon Macs. The maker says voice processing runs locally and audio is not sent to its servers. The free plan is listed at free. During Alpha, all features are free, though the maker reserves the option to add paid tiers or limits later. Echo Pro is listed without a price.
Voice.ai
Voice.ai provides real-time AI voice transformation for PC, alongside text-to-speech and online audio tools. Its PC app describes its voice engine as deep-learning based and lets users hear a changed voice in real time. A library of user-generated voices and voice cloning are also listed. Voice.ai says transformed speech is returned in the speaker’s language. On Windows, it can work with microphone-enabled apps such as Discord, Zoom, Google Meet, WhatsApp, Skype and Twitch, plus games including Minecraft and Fortnite. The platform listing includes Windows, Mac, iOS and Android, while its API offering covers voice agents, cloning and text-to-speech. The free plan includes 5k credits/month and a five-minute audio conversion limit. Starter costs $5 a month and includes 15k credits/month and five instant voice clones. Higher plans add credits, clones, concurrent generation and agent-call capacity, with priority support on Core and technical success manager support on Business.
