In their own words
Orato
Orato is a mobile public-speaking practice app for rehearsing aloud and receiving AI feedback after a session. It supports presentations, meetings, interviews, pitches, speeches, and impromptu speaking. Feedback covers filler words, pauses, pace, clarity, structure, delivery, and context, with coaching notes on voice modulation and related delivery traits. Bite-sized lessons address pausing with intent, opening a talk, handling off-script questions, and closing a pitch. The app is available on iOS and Android through the App Store and Google Play. Its Free plan costs nothing and includes three AI practice sessions monthly, filler-word detection, pace and timing feedback, a speech topics library, and a Toastmasters speech timer. Premium costs $15 a month and adds unlimited AI practice and a broader feedback suite. Subscriptions renew automatically, and prices may vary by region. Orato was formerly SpeakUp and is not a medical product.
