In their own words

EDB Postgres AI Hybrid Manager

EDB Postgres AI Hybrid Manager is a control plane for provisioning, managing, and observing Postgres estates across on-premises, public-cloud, hybrid, and sovereign data-center environments. Kubernetes-native provisioning provides workload templates, guided custom configurations, and high-availability setup. More than 200 metrics cover resource use, query performance, replication lag, and cluster health, including monitoring for third-party clusters such as AWS RDS. Recommendations address indexes, resource sizing, patches, and configuration changes, with audit trails. API-driven migrations support legacy or cloud-locked databases; EDB says native Oracle compatibility eliminates 95% of application code rewrites. Supported engines include PostgreSQL, EDB Postgres Advanced Server, and EDB Postgres Extended Server, while Oracle is supported for external connections and migrations. Governance, security recommendations, audit logging, multi-way replication, cross-region replication, point-in-time recovery, read replicas, and 30-day backup retention are listed. Hybrid Manager is a featured Enterprise Postgres capability, with pricing on request; the plans page does not state its price. EDB lists Basic 10x5, Production 24x7, and Premium 24x7 support.
