EdgeVerve AssistEdge is a connected automation platform for digitizing and automating business processes. EdgeVerve describes it as an enterprise RPA product spanning deterministic, intelligent, and human-empowered automation. AssistEdge 20.0 includes process discovery, document processing, low-code application development, bot scaling, validation, and monitoring. It also offers generative AI models and contextual, on-demand workforce assistance. Deployment choices include RPA SaaS and cloud-managed services, with a pay-as-you-go model. AssistEdge Discover gathers process and task data from user devices, analyzes it, and presents process maps and automation blueprints. AssistEdge Engage combines applications in a web-based dashboard with contextual help and real-time insights. Cloud RPA services include infrastructure, discovery, bot configuration and sustenance, consulting, and training; bots and infrastructure can scale with demand. A free Community Edition provides a single-user license for learning and building automations, with access to a community forum, expert advice, and the Knowledge Centre. Ui.Vision RPA automates browser and desktop tasks, and also supports web scraping, screen scraping, UI testing and test automation. Workflows can combine visual recording, Selenium-style commands, computer vision, OCR and a JavaScript automation API. Its AI assistant can inspect a live page, create and run reusable macros, and help repair failures. Users may choose hosted Ui.Vision AI, Anthropic, OpenRouter or a local OpenAI-compatible model. Macros execute locally; hosted AI sends chat content and included page data or screenshots to the chosen service for processing, while local AI keeps that processing on the machine. Ui.Vision says hosted AI content and screenshots are not stored. The browser extension supports Chrome, Edge and Firefox; desktop automation uses XModules on Windows, macOS and Linux, adding native mouse and keyboard input and direct local file access. A command-line API can connect with Jenkins and Cucumber and languages including C#, Python and PowerShell. Free Edition costs nothing for personal and commercial use. PRO Edition costs $299 a year, and Enterprise Edition costs $999 a year. Enterprise Player licenses cannot create new macros and include 10,000 OCR conversions per day per license.
