Edpuzzle is an online learning platform for teachers and educational institutions to assign interactive video lessons and follow student progress. Teachers can choose a YouTube video, upload their own, or reuse another teacher’s lesson, then add voice recordings and questions. The Question Generator can insert multiple-choice or open-ended questions, though it may be unavailable if a video lacks enough information. Students can work at their own pace while teachers check progress in real time. Integrations include learning management systems such as Google Classroom, Microsoft Teams, Canvas, Schoology, Moodle, Blackboard, and others. The Google Classroom add-on lets teachers manage assignments there, and students can complete lessons without a separate Edpuzzle account. Progress tracking requires student accounts, except in open classes. Edpuzzle offers web, iOS, and Android apps, plus a Chrome extension for screen recording and importing YouTube videos. The free Basic plan includes 20 interactive activities and 10 supported assignments. Pro Teacher costs $13.75 a month and includes unlimited activities and 120 supported assignments. Near-Life is a browser-based platform for building interactive video and VR simulations for learning teams. Learners make choices in branching scenarios, and teams can use feedback reports and an analytics dashboard to review individual responses and aggregated interaction statistics. Creation tools include AI-assisted scenario design, AI video generation, and AI image generation for 2D and 360° images. Experiences can be shared by link, embedded on a website, or integrated with an LMS. Near-Life supports LTI, SCORM, and xAPI, and lists Moodle, Totara, Canvas, and Docebo as learning platform integrations. CREATOR runs in a browser without a software download. The free plan includes one project, 2D media, 5GB storage, and up to 100 plays. Starter costs $54.50 per month; Creator costs $145.00 per month, and Creator VR costs $249.50 per month.
