Overview

The product combines customer records and deal tracking with a shared support inbox, website chat and project coordination. A knowledge base, forum, email and VoIP broaden its scope. That range may suit teams coordinating customer conversations and follow-up work in one system; teams seeking a specialist CRM or helpdesk may prefer a narrower tool.

CRM features include customer profiles, interaction history, recurring reminders, grouping, reporting and deal tracking. The helpdesk brings email, phone calls and other messages into one inbox, with ticket assignment and canned responses. Website chat is embedded with a code snippet and supports live visitor viewing, push notifications and offline messages. Teams can assign tasks, organize them into projects and subprojects, and track completion time.

Key features

Customer records and sales: Profiles, interaction history, reminders and deal tracking give teams a place to follow relationships and prospects. Reporting and grouping add ways to organize that work.
Multichannel support: Combining email, calls and other messages in one inbox can help teams route inquiries consistently. Ticket assignment clarifies ownership, while canned responses suit recurring questions.
Website chat: Live visitor viewing and push notifications support active conversations; offline messages provide a route for visitors who arrive when staff are unavailable.
Project coordination: Task assignment, nested projects and completion-time tracking connect internal follow-up to the customer-facing work.
Integrations and API: Integrations include Shopify, WooCommerce, Gmail, Mailgun, Plivo, WordPress, eBay, GitHub, Dropbox and Mailchimp. API documentation is linked from the integrations page, which may help teams connect other systems.

Pricing

Sugester has a free-forever plan and a free 30-day trial that does not require a credit card. Paid plans are billed monthly at the stated prices.

Plan	Price	Limits and included capacity
Free	0.00 USD per free	3 users, 100 monthly email sends, 100 clients/email lists, 2 email boxes, 3 projects and 1 GB storage.
Start	12.00 USD per month	3 users, 1,000 monthly email sends, 1,000 clients/email lists, 3 email boxes, 5 projects and 5 GB storage.
Pro	12.00 USD per month	5 users, 1,000 monthly email sends per agent, 1,000 clients/email lists, 10 email boxes, 30 projects and 5 GB storage per agent.
Max	25.00 USD per month	Unlimited users, 5,000 monthly email sends per agent, 20,000 clients/email lists, 30 email boxes, 5 live chats and 10 GB storage per agent.
Enterprise	50.00 USD per month	Unlimited users, 10,000 monthly email sends per agent, 100,000 clients/email lists, unlimited email boxes and live chats, and 30 GB storage per agent.

Free is a practical starting point for a very small team, but its 100 monthly sends, two inboxes and three projects leave little room for growing workloads. Start keeps the three-user ceiling and raises the send allowance to 1,000; Pro costs the same stated monthly price while allowing five users, 10 inboxes and 30 projects, with sends and storage allocated per agent. That makes Pro the more capable fit for a small team, though its 1,000-client cap remains. Max and Enterprise remove the user ceiling and expand quotas; Enterprise is the stronger fit for heavier email and chat volumes, with unlimited inboxes and chats, while Max caps chats at five. The pricing page says customers can contact Sugester by live chat, phone or email.

Platforms

Sugester is available on the web, Android and iOS, with an API and a self-hosted option. The web app runs in a browser without installation or setup. Self-hosting is available by inquiry and requires a server with at least 8 GB RAM, Ubuntu Server, nginx and MySQL, so it is a more demanding choice for teams that do not already manage that environment.

Who it's for

Sugester is a reasonable fit for small teams that want customer tracking, support conversations and project follow-up in one product, particularly if its capped plans cover their users and message volumes. Teams with larger inbox, chat or email needs should compare the higher tiers against their expected workload. Self-hosting may suit teams prepared to operate the required server; those wanting a browser service can use the cloud app instead.

Pros and cons

Pros: CRM, multichannel support, website chat and project management are combined, reducing the need to coordinate those functions across separate products.
Pros: The free plan and no-card 30-day trial let a small team evaluate the suite before committing to a paid tier.
Pros: Max and Enterprise allow unlimited users, with Enterprise also removing email-box and live-chat caps.
Cons: Free and Start stop at three users, and both cap monthly sends and project counts; teams can outgrow them quickly.
Cons: Pro retains a 1,000-client/email-list cap despite its larger project and inbox allowances.
Cons: Self-hosting requires a specific server stack and at least 8 GB RAM, putting it beyond teams that do not want to manage infrastructure.

Alternatives

For a discussion-first community, compare Discourse, which is self-hosted and open source, with a free plan for unlimited members and two staff seats. Circle is a paid community option with a Professional plan at 89.00 USD per month on annual billing; its plan includes unlimited members, three admins, 10 moderators and 20 spaces. Choose Zapnito if its community plans fit: it has a free plan, while its Starter offers free platform access, unlimited data, email automation and 24/7 customer support; Enterprise is 708.00 USD per year.

For a helpdesk alternative, Freshdesk has a free program for 1-2 agents for six months and a Growth plan at 19.00 USD per month billed annually. Zoho Desk offers a free plan for three users. For a member community, Hivebrite is another option. Salesforce Experience Cloud and Invision Community are alternatives to consider.

Verdict

Choose Sugester if a small team wants CRM, support and project follow-up together and can work within the plan’s user and volume limits. Its strongest case is breadth across customer-facing and internal workflows; look elsewhere if you need generous entry-tier capacity or want to avoid the infrastructure requirements of self-hosting.
