Eightify
Eightify uses AI to summarize YouTube videos and identify key information. Its summaries include timestamps for jumping to a topic, an overview of top comments, and video transcripts; it also offers a transcript generator and can summarize transcripts. Users can shape key insights by choosing a focus, format, length, and grouping, then share summaries as links or export them. Summaries and translations are available in more than 40 languages. The Chrome extension listing says it handles videos up to 10 hours and is powered by Claude and ChatGPT. Eightify names podcasts, interviews, science and technology, business, investing, news, health, and personal growth as possible subjects. It is available on Android, iOS, web, and as a browser extension. A free plan and free trial are available. Eightify Pro costs $9.99 a month, billed monthly, or $59.99 a year, billed annually. It does not summarize webpages or accept file uploads. Eightify says it collects contact, device, and usage data and applies security measures, while noting that absolute protection cannot be guaranteed.
