Flip is an employee communication app for frontline workers, bringing workplace news, channels, chat, calls, tasks, surveys, a knowledge base, and AI together. It is designed for employees who may not have a desk, company email, or PC. Core tools include direct and group chat, voice and video calls, live translation, livestreaming, and digital signage. HR integrations can make payslips, shift schedules, absence management, and time tracking available in the app. Named integrations include SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Jira, Workday, UKG, and SAP SuccessFactors. Flip Intelligence includes Ask AI, an AI Flow Builder, and Flip Fusion, an AI app builder. Ask AI searches published posts and knowledge base pages while honoring access controls. Flip says data sent to Flip Intelligence is not used to train OpenAI or other third-party models, and processing uses Azure OpenAI. The platform is ISO 27001 and SOC 2 certified, EU hosted, and GDPR compliant, according to Flip. It runs on Android, iOS, macOS, web, and Windows. Growth costs €4.95 a year for up to 300 employees; Enterprise is custom quote.
