mapEDU
mapEDU is a web platform that uses AI to map health professions curricula to learning objectives and highlight gaps, duplicated coverage, and accreditation needs. It maps lectures, handouts, presentations, and assessments against program, course, and session objectives. Curriculum heatmaps and reports summarize objective coverage and instructional and assessment methods; assessments are also aligned with course content and objectives. The service offers accreditation assistance and national benchmarking reports for self-study. Schools can use pre-set outcomes relevant to their program type, including standards associated with USMLE, AACOM, AACN, AACP, CODA, AVMA, CAPTE, ACOTE, and ARC-PA. The listed audience spans allopathic, osteopathic, nursing, dental, pharmacy, veterinary, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and physician assistant programs. Integrations include Canvas, ExamSoft, Brightspace, Panopto, Blackboard, Mediasite, Box, Google, SharePoint, and Dropbox. Uploads can include PDF, PowerPoint, Word, audio, and video files. The FAQ describes curricular data as encrypted in transit, in processing, and at rest. A free plan and trial option are listed; paid subscription prices are not published, and features depend on the selected version.
