Spotify Audiobook Creation Tools are web-based tools for turning a manuscript into an audiobook within Spotify for Authors. Authors can select voice models from ElevenLabs, define pronunciation rules, and preview or edit the result before publication. EPUB is the supported manuscript format, and titles currently need to be in English. Chapter handling is available, commercial rights are included, and audiobook export is not. The free plan costs nothing and allows up to five audiobooks, with some usage and generation limits. Access is currently for self-published authors in the United States and requires a validated payment profile. Publishing through Spotify for Authors is non-exclusive; wider distribution is available through the Voices by INaudio integration. Spotify describes the tools for new authors, authors with backlists lacking audio, and authors wanting creative control. More than five titles requires contacting support.
