In their own words

Elium

Elium is a knowledge platform that organizes scattered organisational know-how into a governed source for people and AI agents. Web and mobile access support rich articles, tags, permissions, alerts, and an expert directory for social knowledge sharing. Every plan includes unlimited AI search and answers with citations and no usage credits. Governance features cover ownership, validation, retirement, and expiry reminders; Corporate and Enterprise add approval workflows. Elium lists 65 integrations, including Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, MCP, ChatGPT, Claude, SharePoint, OneDrive, Google Drive, Slack, Salesforce, ServiceNow, and Zendesk. GraphQL and Search APIs plus MCP connectivity support custom applications and retrieval pipelines. It offers Android, iOS, web, API, extension, and self-hosted deployment, with SSO and version history. Default hosting is in Google Cloud’s Belgium region, with sovereign French hosting through 3DS Outscale. Elium says customer content is not used to train models. Team costs €15 a month billed yearly with a 10-user minimum; Corporate costs $20 a month billed yearly with the same minimum. There is no free plan, but a free trial is available.

XWiki

XWiki is an open-source enterprise wiki and knowledge-management platform for collaboration, document management and structured data. It can be used for knowledge bases, collaborative intranets, public websites and business applications, with publishing for internal or external audiences. Editors can work in wiki syntax or a WYSIWYG interface, while version control allows earlier pages to be compared or restored. Page rights can govern viewing, editing and deletion at the page, child-page or whole-wiki level. More than 900 extensions include applications, macros, skins, plugins and themes. Listed connectors include Active Directory, Office 365, Google Apps and OnlyOffice; a RESTful API supports integration with other applications. XWiki is available as a self-hosted installation or through XWiki Cloud. Its Community edition is self-hosted and open source; cloud plans list capacities from 25 users to unlimited users. XWiki Cloud's 10-day demo trial can be extended twice. Cloud service is hosted in France on OVHcloud and includes backups, monitoring, antivirus scanning and security maintenance. If storage exceeds a plan allowance, wiki actions may be limited to viewing pages.
