EmberOT
EmberOT is self-hosted software for monitoring industrial assets and networks. Its software sensors discover, classify, and track assets from remote network edges through core networks, while collecting and processing data locally. The product combines cybersecurity alerts with operational anomaly detection and process monitoring. It evaluates vulnerabilities using current and historical information to rank environment-specific risk and recommend remediation. The Odyssey console brings together sensor and license management, health monitoring, asset inventory, and network views. Listed protocols include IEC 61850, Siemens S7, CIP/ENIP, BACnet, Modbus, DNP3, and MQTT; SIEM integration is supported. Minimum sensor requirements are 4 cores, 4 GB RAM, and 30 GB storage. EmberOT also offers a free OT PCAP Analyzer for offline packet-capture review, including device and protocol identification, filtering, and search. The analyzer requires a valid school or business email for download, and does not provide live span or tap monitoring, outbound sending, historical storage, or threat and anomaly detection. Main-product pricing is on request.
Rhebo Industrial Protector
Rhebo Industrial Protector is a network-based intrusion detection system for operational technology networks. It continuously monitors OT communications and uses anomaly detection to identify cyberattacks, tampering, and technical failures. Its passive design connects through mirror ports or network taps without modifying OT infrastructure, aiming to avoid disruption to industrial processes. Real-time cyber-event reporting includes detailed PCAP records. The system visualizes active devices, firmware status, protocols, connections, and known vulnerabilities for OT documentation and asset management. Standard-based SIEM integration can bring OT security events into enterprise cybersecurity systems. Rhebo offers on-premises and off-premises deployment, including physical and virtualized on-premises appliances; VMware ESXi is listed for virtual deployments. Specifications state that all OT communication protocols are detected and logged, with OPC, IEC 60870-5-104, IEC 61850-8-1, and DNP3 listed. Rhebo identifies critical infrastructure, utilities, and manufacturing as intended users.
