EmbraceIEP is paid web software for school districts and cooperatives managing special-education documentation and IEP processes. Founded in 1999, it provides state-specific fields, alerts, reminder emails and due-date reminders for compliance tracking. A goal builder prompts for timeframe, behavior, condition and criterion when staff formulate SMART goals. Users can run built-in compliance reports, modify them or save custom reports. Multiple people can edit different fields of one IEP form simultaneously. The optional Parent Portal lets districts share IEP and 504 documents during meetings and collect electronic signatures; it is described as a free addition. Documents can be translated into dozens of languages without charge, with customizable translations. LDAP and SAML single sign-on are supported, alongside listed student-information-system connections through SFTP or API. Impact Suite is a K-12 platform combining compliance management, student behavioral health and safety, mental wellness, and emergency response. AskImpact provides cited answers from authorized school data and can open concerns, schedule hall passes, and run reports. Behavior workflows use MTSS, PBIS, and trauma-informed practices to create individualized plans. Students have daily check-ins, mindfulness tools, and guided courses; teachers receive SEL resources, and parents connect through Raise. Emergency response features include real-time alerts, customizable protocols, and direct communication with first responders through its Emergent 3 partnership. SIS integration syncs attendance, academic, and behavior data daily, while writeback updates the SIS in real time. The platform offers web, Android, iOS, and API access, plus progress monitoring, service tracking, compliance reporting, and parent portals. Impact Suite states FERPA, HIPAA, and COPPA compliance, role-based access controls, and AES-256 encryption for stored data. Pricing is on request, and there is no free plan.
