IT Asset Tool
IT Asset Tool inventories hardware and software across a LAN for IT asset and software asset management. It supports agentless scanning integrated with Microsoft Active Directory, as well as a separate client/server scanning mode. Hardware records can include manufacturer, model, processor, memory, GPU, and disk. The software inventory tracks installations and removals, Windows patches, and running processes; license compliance compares detected software with entries in its contracts database and can flag anomalies. Integrations and data acquisition include Active Directory, Microsoft SQL Server, SQLite, SNMP versions 1–3, and SSH. Its Syslog server collects device events, including from macOS and Linux, using customizable RegEx rules. Users can set event rules, receive email alerts, schedule reports, and monitor endpoint antivirus and firewall status. IT Asset Tool is on-premises. The management server requires 64-bit Windows 11 or Windows Server 2019 or later and at least 8 GB RAM. Basic is free for up to 35 assets; Enterprise options support unlimited assets. The vendor lists free multilingual support.
