In their own words

Emergent

Emergent turns natural-language descriptions into applications, with AI handling coding, design, and deployment. The maker lists web and mobile apps, dashboards, e-commerce sites, portfolios, SaaS tools, and internal business applications as possible projects. Users own the generated code and can download, modify, or host their applications elsewhere. Mobile development uses Expo and React Native for iOS and Android, but the Mobile Agent is not available on the Free tier. Free includes 10 monthly credits. Standard costs $20 a month billed annually and includes 100 monthly credits, mobile development, private project hosting, GitHub integration, custom domains, and deployments. Pro costs $200 a month billed annually and includes 750 monthly credits, custom AI agent creation, and priority support. The integrations directory lists services such as GitHub, Stripe, Supabase, OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, Twilio, Figma, and Airtable. Business and Enterprise list team and access controls; Enterprise also lists self-hosted database support and deployment in a customer’s own cloud. Emergent describes its audience as non-coders, product managers, developers, and solo founders.

ToolJet

ToolJet is a platform for building internal tools and business applications, with screens, data queries, application logic, and permissions. ToolJet AI can turn a plain-language request into an app draft whose components are connected to queries. Workflow automation supports data syncing, approvals, scheduled jobs, and notifications. The platform lists more than 100 native connectors and supports REST and gRPC endpoints; each workspace also includes ToolJet Database, a no-code table editor built on PostgreSQL. Security controls include SAML, OIDC, and LDAP single sign-on, role-based permissions, and workspace audit logs. ToolJet says it encrypts data in transit with TLS and data-source credentials with AES-256-GCM. Its security resources include SOC 2 audit information, ISO 27001, and GDPR materials. Community and enterprise editions can be deployed on-premise, including in an air-gapped configuration. ToolJet is available through web, API, and self-hosting. The cloud Free plan is available, and paid plans start at $23 per month; a 14-day trial is listed.
