EmuBands distributes artists’ and record labels’ music to digital retailers and streaming services. Users can send releases worldwide or choose outlets, set release and pre-order dates, and request pre-save setup. The Basic plan costs nothing for one artist, with payment per release; one-time options cost 20.00 USD for a single-track release or 40.00 USD for a release of two to 20 tracks. Annual plans include Plus at $40 a year for two to five artists, Pro at $80 a year for six or more artists, and Premium at $120 a year for unlimited releases and up to five artists. EmuBands says users keep 100% of royalties and may request payment without a minimum threshold. Premium and Pro users can split earnings among contributors and receive a personal account manager. Other services include playlist pitching, free Shazam registration during distribution, and immediate Spotify for Artists registration. The web service was founded in 2005 and is based in Glasgow, Scotland.
