EngageNow vs Jobiqo

EngageNow is a free app for UK school staff to find local roles and manage work. It covers teaching, SEND, school support, administration and back-office jobs, from day-to-day assignments to short-term, long-term and permanent roles. Users can set matching preferences for roles, subjects, key stages, qualifications and travel distance, then receive alerts when suitable vacancies appear. Listings show the school, date, role and pay, and applications can be submitted in the app; an Engage Education consultant confirms bookings. Staff can set their availability by day, block unavailable dates and manage their calendar and bookings. A dashboard displays upcoming work and pending timesheets, including whether submitted work has been approved. Registered users can access free role-related CPD resources and invite friends through a referral feature that awards Amazon vouchers for qualifying work. The app works alongside registration with Engage Education and guides unregistered users through registration. It is available on Android, iOS and the web, with no subscription fees or application charges.
