Overview

Yesware notifies users when prospects open an email, click a link or download an attachment. Sellers can use those signals to inform follow-up, while templates and automated multi-touch campaigns help make repeated outreach more consistent without abandoning personalization. Reporting covers recipient engagement, campaign performance and user activity.

Integrations include Salesforce, LinkedIn, Zoom, Vendasta, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams, in addition to Gmail and Outlook. Salesforce email, calendar and activity syncing is an Enterprise feature, so teams that need those CRM workflows must budget for the top tier.

Key features

Tracking and outreach

Free includes basic open and attachment tracking, but not link tracking; Pro adds unlimited open, link and attachment tracking. Reply detection, multichannel outreach and advanced personalization broaden the sales workflow, though the lower plans’ campaign recipient limits can make them awkward for ongoing prospecting at scale.

Team reporting and controls

Premium adds shared templates and campaigns, team reporting and centralized billing, making it the more suitable step for teams coordinating outreach. Enterprise adds Salesforce inbox access, list-view imports to campaigns, single sign-on and trusted IP ranges. Yesware says it maintains a current SOC 2 Type II report, available by request through an account manager under NDA. It stores email metadata rather than permanent message-body copies; temporary bodies used for some CRM features are encrypted and deleted after transfer.

Pricing

Yesware has a free plan, a 14-day trial and paid plans from $15/user/mo (annual). The listed monthly plans are Free at no cost, Pro at 19.00 USD per month, Premium at 45.00 USD per month and Enterprise at 85.00 USD per month. The gap between the annual starting price and listed monthly prices makes the billing term worth checking when comparing costs.

Plan	What it includes	Best fit
Free	Basic open and attachment tracking, 10 campaign recipients/month, Meeting Scheduler, weekly webinar trainings and email support.	A solo seller testing basic tracking or running very limited outreach.
Pro	Unlimited open, link and attachment tracking; 20 campaign recipients/month; personal activity and recipient engagement reports; email and phone support.	Individual sellers who need full tracking and support but can work within a small campaign audience.
Premium	Everything in Pro, unlimited campaigns and teams, shared templates and campaigns, team reporting, centralized billing and on-demand customer success.	Teams coordinating campaigns and reviewing performance together.
Enterprise	Everything in Premium, Salesforce email, calendar and activity sync, Salesforce inbox sidebar, list-view campaign imports, Salesforce single sign-on and trusted IP ranges.	Organizations that need Salesforce workflows and enterprise access controls.

Pro raises tracking limits but still caps campaigns at 20 recipients per month; it is not a high-volume outreach tier. Premium is the first plan with unlimited campaigns and teams. Free’s 10-recipient monthly cap is restrictive for regular prospecting, while Enterprise’s Salesforce additions are the clearest reason to pay above Premium.

Platforms

Yesware supports extension, macOS, web and Windows. It works with Gmail and Outlook, but not aliases or Send As addresses; Outlook requires an address hosted directly on Microsoft 365. There is no mobile app, which makes it a poor fit for sellers who need a dedicated phone workflow.

Who it's for

Yesware suits individual sellers, founders, SMBs and enterprise sales teams that use Gmail or Outlook to drive revenue and want engagement signals alongside structured follow-up. Premium fits teams sharing campaigns and reporting; Enterprise is for those that also rely on Salesforce syncing and controls. Users with incompatible addresses, mobile-first workflows or campaign volumes above Pro’s small quota should look elsewhere.

Pros and cons

Pros: Real-time open, click and attachment signals give sellers concrete context for follow-up.
Pros: Premium combines unlimited campaigns with shared templates, team reporting and centralized billing for coordinated sales teams.
Pros: Enterprise adds Salesforce synchronization and access controls for organizations that need them.
Cons: Free and Pro allow only 10 and 20 campaign recipients per month, respectively, limiting sustained outreach on those tiers.
Cons: Address restrictions exclude aliases and Send As setups, and Outlook must be hosted directly on Microsoft 365.
Cons: No mobile app means the workflow is centered on desktop platforms.

Alternatives

Mixmax is worth considering for a free tier with 20 tracked emails per month and up to 50 sequence recipients, rather than Yesware’s 10 free campaign recipients.
Growbots may suit teams seeking a free plan with 20 email accounts and three sequences, though its prospect database access is partial.
Outplay offers a free forever plan for one user, two mailboxes and 2,000 active prospects per month, a different free-tier structure from Yesware’s campaign-recipient cap.
Instantly is a paid option with web and mobile platforms and a Growth plan that includes monthly credits and access to a 450M+ B2B leads database.
Regie.ai has a free plan with 250 one-time credits per person and research, enrichment, drafting and agent capabilities.
Saleshandy is a paid alternative with a Starter plan that includes 2,000 active prospects and 6,000 emails per month.
Snov.io is another option for buyers considering a trial-based outreach service.
Warmbly is a warmup-focused alternative with a free pool for up to 10 mailboxes.

Verdict

Choose Yesware if your sales workflow is built around Gmail or Outlook and you want tracking, personalized multi-touch campaigns and team reporting in one tool. Premium is the practical tier for coordinated outreach; Enterprise makes sense when Salesforce synchronization and access controls are required. Look elsewhere if your address setup conflicts with its restrictions, you need mobile access or you expect to run substantial campaigns on a lower-tier plan.
