In their own words
Enigma Virtual Box
Enigma Virtual Box packages an application's files and registry into one executable for Windows. It is intended for creating portable applications and supports x86 32-bit and x64 64-bit binaries, including EXE, DLL and OCX formats. It can virtualize DLLs, ActiveX/COM objects, media and text files. Virtualized file operations are emulated in process memory, so temporary files are not extracted to the hard drive; virtual files can also be compressed to reduce the application's total size. ActiveX/COM components can be registered without administrator privileges. The maker says packaging requires no source-code changes: select the main executable, add files or directories, then process them. The download page lists version 11.30 as freeware with a size of 7.5 Mb, and the product page lists Windows 2000 through Windows 11. The maker cautions that the utility does not provide sufficient protection for virtualized files and recommends Enigma Protector for that purpose. It is free, with no registration or payment required.
