Exordium
Exordium is a free, client-side Minecraft mod that renders selected vanilla interface elements at a configurable fixed frame rate. Lowering the interface rendering rate is intended to free CPU and GPU time for world rendering. Affected elements include overlays, the hotbar, crosshair, bossbars, the debug screen, titles, scoreboard, and chat. It is listed for Minecraft 1.19.4 and later on Linux, macOS, and Windows, with Fabric, NeoForge, Forge, and Quilt support. The project links to CurseForge and Modrinth for downloads, and does not require Sodium or support dedicated servers. The repository lists compatibility with several mods, including Sodium, Iris, Optifine, AppleSkin, JourneyMap, and BetterF3; VulkanMod is listed as incompatible. Only the vanilla GUI is supported, so mod-rendered interface elements may not work. Screen-setting support remains unfinished, is disabled by default, and can have transparency issues. The project is in maintenance mode, with no new features or fixes planned for bugs involving other mods.
