In their own words

eqdps

eqdps is a graphical EverQuest log parser and damage meter, built primarily for EverQuest Legends. It follows an active log file and can replay recent history, tracking concurrent fights and separating melee, spell, proc, damage-over-time and damage-shield damage. Displays include DPS and SDPS, hit and critical-hit counts, active time, fight filters and expandable combatant details. A separate compact overlay can show the current fight and event timers. The app also reports session XP per hour, progress toward the current level and estimated time to the next level. Users can configure spell-fade, spell-timer, text and regular-expression events, with desktop notifications and sound alerts. Plane of Sky tracking covers quests, items, runes, watched quests and turn-ins. Inventory and Plane of Sky data can optionally be uploaded to eqldb.org. EverQuest Legends is the main compatibility target; other versions may work when their log messages use the same format. The app presents information without modifying or interacting with the game client. It is free for Linux and Windows; Windows builds are not code-signed and may show an Unknown publisher warning.

FF Logs

FF Logs provides combat analysis for Square Enix's Final Fantasy XIV. Players can record encounters, upload reports, and examine combat activity in real time. The site lists raid progress, speed, and execution rankings, along with job balance statistics. Its Deaths Statistics show how often players die, which mechanics are involved, and how much overkill occurred. FF Logs also supports match history, player profiles, team statistics, leaderboards, and live statistics. The homepage links to a downloadable app; subscribers receive ad-free viewing within uploader applications. For developers, the public GraphQL v2 API uses client credentials, while access to private reports through the private API requires user permission. API authentication uses OAuth 2.0. FF Logs has a free plan, with paid subscriptions starting at $2 a month for Silver. Higher tiers list older-report access, increased API limits, and Discord roles or channels. Supported access includes web, Windows, macOS, Linux, and API.
