Eqora
Eqora is an AI math tutor, photo solver, learning library, and toolkit for iPhone and iPad. Users can scan printed or handwritten exercises, crop to the problem, and receive a structured explanation. The tutor supports contextual follow-up questions, simpler explanations, alternate methods, and practice requests. Lessons, quizzes, flashcards, and AI-generated function graphs provide study material, while standard and scientific calculators handle unit, currency, and percentage calculations. Eqora targets learners from middle school through university, with algebra, geometry, trigonometry, statistics, and calculus topics. It is available from Apple’s App Store on devices running iOS 15.6 or later; there is no Android or web app. The Free plan costs nothing and is free to download, while optional Premium subscriptions provide higher AI usage with in-app pricing and limits. Photos can be misread and AI can make mistakes, so important work should be checked against class materials. Submitted photos, chats, and generated results are not used to train models.
ShowYourWork
ShowYourWork turns typed, photographed, or URL problems into handwritten-style solutions with step-by-step work. It covers Math, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science, and History, and is presented for studying, group work, and test preparation. On the web, users can attach images, enter up to 350 characters, choose among four handwriting styles or try a custom style, select one of three paper types, and set detailed or summary output at 1024, 2048, or 4096 square resolution. A photo of one page can be used to clone handwriting; each account gets one free attempt, with unlimited cloning on paid plans. Solutions can be exported as PNG or PDF, copied, printed, or shared by link. Batch processing handles 10 or more problems at once, and Grader Mode provides red-ink corrections and error analysis. The free plan is free and resets monthly, allowing three generations per month. The Weekly Pass is $2.99, paid once for one week; monthly plans are 7.00 USD, 25.00 USD, and 45.00 USD. It is listed for Android, iOS, and web.
