In their own words
Esper
Esper is a device management system for company-owned hardware such as kiosks, point-of-sale systems, barcode scanners and signage. Esper Deploy lets teams define apps, settings, operating system configuration and security posture, then keep a fleet aligned with that desired state. Esper says its agent can ship in a device image so devices enroll and configure themselves at first boot, typically in under five minutes. Deploy supports Android, iOS/iPadOS/tvOS, Windows and Linux. Esper Foundation is a custom Android OS that Esper says it builds, patches and supports through the device lifecycle. Esper Airwave manages Android firmware updates with staged rollouts and automatic rollback, and can work with any MDM or none. REST APIs support device control and monitoring, including app installation, updates, file transfers and bulk actions. Application distribution includes Android APKs, iOS IPAs, Google Play apps and Apple Business Manager assignments. Plans start at $2 per device/month, and all plans have a 25-device minimum. Esper offers a 30-day trial but no free plan.
LimaxLock Secure Browser
LimaxLock Secure Browser turns enrolled Android devices into web kiosks that restrict browsing to approved websites. URLs outside an administrator’s allowlist are denied by default. Browser profiles can set full-screen mode, address-bar visibility, navigation, downloads and other browser settings. A selected site can open on boot, fill the screen and relaunch after a reboot or power cut. From a cloud console, administrators can update allowed URLs over the air, apply profiles in bulk and monitor device status. The product page says Chrome and other installed browsers can be blocked at app level. Leaving kiosk mode requires an administrator password or a one-time exit code. LimaxLock supports Android phones, tablets, rugged handhelds and POS terminals; stated use cases include retail, restaurants, healthcare, education, warehousing and hospitality. The page depicts shortcuts for HubSpot CRM, Outlook, Teams, Drive and Zoom. Pricing is on request, and a 14-day free trial is offered without a credit card. LimaxLock is described as Android Enterprise ready and a Google EMM Partner.
