In their own words
Esqase
Esqase is law-firm case management software combining intake, matters, tasks, time and billing, IOLTA trust accounting, documents, and eSignature in one workspace. Firms can build reusable workflow playbooks and attach them to leads or matters so steps run in sequence. Billing supports batch invoicing, secure browser payment links, and recording online payments against invoices. Operating and trust accounts remain separate, with ledgers and a three-way reconciliation report. Clients can book appointments, submit forms, pay, and sign through secure browser links without managing a portal password. Esqase connects Gmail or Outlook, synchronizes Google or Outlook Calendar, and can add Meet, Teams, or Zoom links to meetings. Its REST API reads and writes firm data with scoped API keys. The company says data is encrypted in transit and sensitive data at rest, with continuously monitored controls and a DPA. Firm owners can require two-factor authentication, while roles govern permissions by area. The listed starting price is $49/user/mo (annual), and a 14-day trial is available.
LeadLex
LeadLex is a web CRM for patent and trade mark firms, and the maker says it also serves commercial law firms. It creates client, prospect, and referrer records from connected email, calendars, Teams, and LinkedIn. Its Prospector searches more than 210 million business contacts across over 480 industries, including in-house counsel, general counsel, and IP managers. LeadLex monitors EPO and national EU registers, matching filings with client records and firm conflict walls. Plain-English rules can turn events such as approaching renewals into drafts for review. The system prepares renewal notes, follow-ups, and meeting briefings, but a partner must approve drafts before client delivery. Pipeline reporting and event contact capture are included. Live connectors listed are Gmail, Outlook, Google Calendar, HubSpot, Microsoft Teams, Telegram, and WhatsApp; Slack is beta, while LinkedIn Sync and Webhook are coming soon. Customer data is stored and processed in Frankfurt without replication outside the EU. Security details include isolated firm instances, encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access, conflict walls, append-only audit trails, SSO, and MFA. Pricing is on request.
