In their own words
Events.org
Events.org provides nonprofits with event and fundraising tools, including ticketing, online donations, mobile bidding auctions, raffles, pledges, and donor stewardship. Registration pages support branding, mobile registration, custom questions, group registration, QR check-in, and automated receipts. Donor management includes records, recurring donations, thank-you messages, email campaigns, reminders, and real-time reports. Its iBid service handles auction item solicitation and catalogs, mobile bidding, participant SMS messages, and auction materials. The free plan promotes events on Events.org and partner sites, hosts free events, tracks attendees and registrations, and sends automated thank-you letters and receipts. Paid ticket sales are listed at $1, paid once, billed at 3.5% plus $1 per transaction rather than per ticket; business events are 5% plus $1 per transaction. The nonprofit fundraising suite costs $100 a month per admin user, with 3.5% plus $1 processing per transaction. Events.org is web-based and also lists Android and iOS platforms. Registration pages work on mobile devices without requiring an app download.
GalaBid
GalaBid combines auctions, raffles, event ticketing and donations in a single fundraising campaign. Participants open a campaign link in a browser on any device, without downloading an app. Silent auction options include automatic closing, winner notifications, overtime bidding, sealed bids and reserve prices. Raffles support electronic tickets, automated notifications and a certified random number generator for draws. Stripe processes payments, and GalaBid says campaign funds go directly from Stripe to the fundraiser’s bank account. Apple Pay and Google Pay are listed as participant payment options. The platform is intended for charities, nonprofits, community groups and individual fundraisers, with human fundraising support available seven days a week. The free plan allows optional participant tips, with 10% of tips shared with the cause. Pro (no tips) costs $4.90, paid once; Flat Fee costs $1,250 as a one-time purchase. Both have no tip prompts or revenue share. Displayed pricing varies by region, and uploaded files can be up to 8MB.
