Overview

EverAfter is a web-based platform for branded customer portals and customer-success workflows. It is best suited to teams that want to give customers a shared destination for onboarding, adoption and renewals, with a free plan for small account books. The central trade-off is a 20-customer free-plan cap before plans start at 200.00 USD per month.

Its scope extends to QBRs, proof-of-concepts, implementation projects, partner onboarding, sales enablement, customer training and ongoing success plans. That breadth can help teams coordinate customer-facing work in one portal, but EverAfter is a less natural fit if a branded customer hub is not part of how they work.

Key features

Portals and workflows

A no-code builder creates personalized branded interfaces, and customer hubs can be shared by link or email, presented during a call, or embedded in a product. Those options make the portal adaptable to different customer touchpoints. Health scoring, onboarding workflows, renewal tracking and success playbooks add operational customer-success functions alongside the portal.

AI tools

AI Studio builds a live branded interface from customer data and a description of the desired experience, which may help teams shape a hub around a particular customer need. AI Agents turn customer signals into actions such as adoption nudges, renewal plans, executive briefs and next best actions. AI Experts convert company knowledge, documentation and release notes into conversational answers with citations inside the customer interface. Together, these tools address both customer-facing content and follow-up work; teams should weigh that breadth against whether these AI workflows suit their own processes.

Integrations, support and security

The integrations page names Salesforce, HubSpot, Gainsight, Planhat, Zendesk, Intercom, Google Drive, Tableau, Mixpanel, Gong, Outlook and Google Calendar, among others. This range spans CRM, customer support, analytics and workplace tools. A dedicated Customer Success Manager is available from kickoff through the customer journey, an added source of support for teams adopting the platform.

EverAfter says it is SOC 2 Type 2 compliant and undergoes periodic penetration testing. Its security controls specify TLS 1.2+ encryption in transit, AES-256 encryption at rest, and restricted, logged access to customer data. These controls matter to teams evaluating a platform that puts customer information in a shared interface.

Pricing

The Free plan costs 0.00 USD per free and includes up to 20 customers, 3 kits, unlimited users, and basic CRM and calendar integrations. Unlimited users remove a seat-count hurdle for a small team, but the 20-customer and 3-kit caps constrain how much of the business it can cover. It is a sensible way to start, not an obvious fit for a growing customer base.

Subscription plans start at 200.00 USD per month, billed $200/month. This is the first stated paid tier for teams that outgrow the free caps. Customized pricing is personalized to business size, industry, customers and technology, with custom pricing for requirements that call for a tailored plan. A dedicated Customer Success Manager is available from kickoff through every stage of the customer journey.

EverAfter is freemium, but the stated paid entry point is a substantial jump from the free tier. Buyers should compare the customer and kit limits against their expected use before deciding whether that transition makes sense.

Platforms

EverAfter runs on the web. Customer hubs can also be embedded in a product or accessed by link or email, so customers have several ways to reach the interface without a separately stated mobile app platform.

Who it's for

EverAfter suits customer-success teams that want to present onboarding, QBRs, renewals and other customer work through a branded portal, particularly when several functions share customer-facing materials. Its support for work without a customer success manager may also suit teams seeking a structured customer experience across different service models.

It is less compelling for teams that need to serve more than 20 customers or build more than 3 kits without moving to a paid plan, or those that do not need a customer-facing hub. The web platform is also a narrower platform choice than a product with dedicated mobile apps.

Pros and cons

Pros: The free plan allows unlimited users, making it possible for a small team to collaborate without a seat cap.
Pros: Customer hubs can be delivered through links, email, calls or product embeds, fitting several customer touchpoints.
Pros: AI Studio, AI Agents and AI Experts cover interface creation, signal-based actions and cited knowledge answers.
Pros: The named integrations cover CRM, support, analytics and productivity tools, while a dedicated Customer Success Manager is available.
Cons: Free use stops at 20 customers and 3 kits, limiting its reach as customer programs expand.
Cons: Subscription plans start at 200.00 USD per month, a significant step up from the free plan.
Cons: The stated platform is web, which may not suit teams looking for native mobile apps.

Alternatives

Customer Success Software is a useful starting point for comparing tools in the broader category. Consider Startdeliver instead if Android or iOS access matters and a paid plan fits: its GIGA tier is 795.00 EUR per month, invoiced annually, for 5 users, 5 lite users, unlimited apps and up to 1000 customers, with AI insights.

Custify offers a paid, demo-request model with custom pricing and web and API platforms, making it an option for buyers seeking a demo-led purchase. CSSignal may suit a smaller paid start: Starter is 129.00 USD per month, billed monthly, for 1 user seat and up to 100 customer accounts, with annual billing also offered.

Mango CS is another customer-success option. Successifier is worth considering for teams wanting a lower stated entry price: Starter is 79.00 USD per month, billed monthly, for up to 50 accounts and 2 team members, with AI health scoring, standard playbooks, basic CRM/email integrations and 1 active onboarding port.

UserIQ offers unlimited seats with pricing dependent on monthly active customers, which may suit buyers whose needs are better measured that way. Vitally offers Hybrid-Touch and Tech-Touch plans with custom pricing for different customer-success models. Freshsuccess is another web- and API-based alternative.

Verdict

Choose EverAfter if a branded customer hub is central to how your team handles onboarding, adoption and renewals, and its AI tools and varied sharing options match the work. The free plan is a useful starting point for up to 20 customers and 3 kits, but teams beyond those limits should be ready for subscription plans starting at 200.00 USD per month. Look elsewhere if you need a different platform mix or do not want to pay for a portal-centered approach.
