ScanPapyrus is Windows software for scanning documents, books, and printed photos. Batch scanning can capture the next page automatically after a user-set interval, while book mode splits a two-page spread into separate pages. Cleanup tools deskew scans, remove black edges, sharpen text, adjust contrast, crop edges, and whiten gray backgrounds. The software supports automatic document feeders and two-sided scanning, with compatible devices listed from Kyocera, Epson, Canon, HP, Brother, Samsung, Xerox, and Mustek. Online OCR services, including OCR Web Service and OCR Space, can produce searchable PDFs, Word files, or plain text; OCR requires an internet connection and service account.
