Explore Careers

Explore Careers is a free web service connecting students, parents, counselors and educators with employers, industries and career pathways across America. Its Career Quiz asks 18 questions and returns personalized matches in about eight minutes. The resulting report covers career fit, pay, demand outlook, skills, education and training routes, connected employers and practical next steps. Visitors can explore industries, employers, internships, apprenticeships and early-career roles, along with virtual or in-person employer events, insight sessions and career talks. Bec, an AI career assistant, is available across the site 24/7 and is described as free. Explore Careers says it has operated since 2009. Its About page reports 15M+ students, 26,000+ high schools and 5,500+ trade, technical and community colleges across 50 states. The privacy policy says identifiable student records are generally held by schools, and the service does not sell or share student personal information, build individual profiles or use targeted advertising. Google Analytics and HubSpot are named as service providers. Access for students, schools, educators and families costs nothing, with no payment, trial or account required to start the quiz.
