In their own words
FaceFig
FaceFig is a web-based tool for creating face-based avatars and downloading them as HD images. Both listed avatar styles are supported, and commercial use is allowed. The service does not provide rigged exports, game-engine export, or face tracking, so its listed output is image downloads. A free plan includes 3 free regenerations per month and 7-day original retention. Paid packs are one-time purchases with credits, photo limits, and longer retention. The Starter Pack costs 24.90 USD once for 100 credits, up to 25 standard-resolution photos, and 30-day original retention. Larger options include the Pro Pack at 199.00 USD once, Studio Pack at 745.00 USD once, Agency Pack at 2240.00 USD once, and Enterprise Pack at 4980.00 USD once. Enterprise includes 50,000 credits, up to 12,500 standard-resolution photos, 5-year original retention, and custom volume and SLA through sales.
in3D
in3D is a mobile app that creates human avatars through 3D body scanning. During a scan, it records video and TrueDepth data through the phone camera; the site says avatars can be created within a minute. Models can be exported in FBX, GLB, or USDZ formats. The maker lists SDKs for Unreal Engine and Unity, and says its Web SDK and API can integrate avatars into apps on any platform. Avatars are described as having a Mixamo-compatible rig and a 2048×2048 texture. The developer portal says API-created avatars can be used in commercial or non-commercial games, experiences, videos, and metaverses, but not to create competing 3D scanning technology or to sell as NFTs or paid 3D model distributions. The privacy policy says only video and photos recorded in the app are uploaded, with Google Cloud Platform and Amazon Web Services used for processing. It says the files are encrypted with a key stored locally on the mobile device. Free API testing costs nothing and is limited to two scans per day; 100 scans cost $100 as a one-time purchase.
