FacelessLab
FacelessLab is a web tool for making YouTube thumbnails from a visual reference or without one. Paste a YouTube link or upload a JPG, PNG, or WebP thumbnail, and the AI analyzes its layout, colors, composition, and text style. It produces two variants that users can refine by locking elements. Upload a portrait to replace a creator’s face while retaining the reference style, lighting, and composition; saved portraits can be reused across projects. Faceless mode generates thumbnails without a portrait. The Free plan costs nothing, billed Forever, and includes three generations per week, one refinement per generation, one saved portrait, and watermarked 720p HD exports. Pro costs $14 a month and includes 20 monthly generations, three refinements per generation, five saved portraits, and unwatermarked 1080p exports. Agency costs $39 a month and Business costs $89 a month; both add larger limits and priority support with a response time under four hours. All plans include element locks and refinements. Subscriptions can be canceled while retaining free plan access.
ThumbnailPop
ThumbnailPop is a web tool for generating video thumbnails from a prompt, a video restyle, or a pasted script. It is aimed at YouTube creators who want to make thumbnails without Photoshop or design skills, and also lists YouTube Shorts and Twitch. Styles include Auto, Bold, Cinematic, Realistic, UGC, and Cartoon, with niche categories such as Gaming, Business / Money, Tech & AI, Lifestyle / IRL, and Other. Templates cover Vlog, Gaming, Reaction, Tutorial, ASMR, and Podcast thumbnails. A brand kit can keep channel colors, fonts, and the creator’s face consistent across generated outputs. The site says variants appear side by side in about 20 seconds or less, but differs on whether each run creates four or five. Exports are optimized JPEGs at 1280×720, capped at 2 MB. The free option includes five signup generations, all niche templates, and 1280×720 export, with no card required. One-time packs cost $9 for 50 generations or $29 for 200, without a subscription.
