In their own words
FactoryLogix
FactoryLogix is a manufacturing intelligence platform that connects shop-floor events with products and processes. Drag-and-drop tools let engineers, quality teams, operations leaders, and executives build dashboards, reports, and visualizations without relying on IT or database expertise. Users can filter, group, drill into, and pivot production, quality, materials, and traceability data, with KPI boards, SPC charts, and scheduled report distribution. Traceability follows serial numbers and material lots through genealogy, process history, test results, and approvals. Loss Prevention Reporting measures blocked defects, non-conforming materials, unauthorized operator actions, and compliance violations by type, workstation, and period. The platform connects with ERP, PLM, warehouse, quality, equipment, and other enterprise systems through open APIs and business-intelligence access, including Power BI and Tableau. Deployment options include on-premises, private cloud, hybrid or edge, and SaaS, with browser access on laptops, tablets, and phones. FactoryLogix is paid, with pricing on request, and supports work orders, quality management, lot and serial traceability, shop-floor data capture, and real-time dashboards.
Sepasoft MES
Sepasoft MES controls, tracks, and documents the conversion of raw materials into finished goods in real time. Its modules address OEE and downtime, batch procedures, traceability, statistical process control, settings and changeovers, and business connectivity. Listed capabilities include work order and quality management, lot and serial traceability, shop-floor data capture, and real-time dashboards. The Business Connector links MES to ERP and other higher-level systems, while Web Services supports REST and SOAP. The Interface for SAP ERP provides native, bidirectional connectivity to on-premises SAP systems without additional middleware. MES Enterprise Central Server aggregates data from site-level systems for enterprise reporting and analysis. Sepasoft describes its site license as covering unlimited lines, machines, and users. The modules require Inductive Automation’s Ignition Platform; full visualization can use Ignition Vision or Perspective, although Batch Procedure is listed as compatible with Perspective but not Vision. An unlicensed module runs in demo mode for two hours at a time, and the demo can be restarted. Deployment is hybrid, and supported environments include API, Linux, self-hosted, web, and Windows.
