Faithful vs Stay True

Faithful is a free, open-source Minecraft resource pack project that redraws the game's original textures at higher resolutions while retaining their familiar look. It supports both Java and Bedrock Edition and can be installed on computers, phones, and certain consoles. Its offerings include different resolutions and styles: Faithful 32x uses detailed art, a limited palette, and consistent treatment, while Faithful 64x redraws default Minecraft art at four times the resolution for a vanilla-style experience. Community-made add-ons cover a range of editions and versions. Texture proposals are subject to public voting, and anyone can submit work. The project began in 2010 and also publishes a public REST API for its texture database and add-on submissions. Its license allows use, modification, and distribution for Minecraft and other projects subject to requirements such as credit, a website link, and including or linking the license. It bars paywalls, monetized download links, crypto or NFT projects, and training AI models on its work.
