Documentation depthDocumentation covers concepts, workflow construction, integrations, credentials, expressions, testing, debugging, self-hosting, MCP and troubleshooting topics. The documentation site includes getting-started guides, component references, deployment, observability, evaluation, safety, MCP, A2A and API references.
IntegrationsNative connectors include Slack, HubSpot, Salesforce, SharePoint, OneDrive, Outlook, Twilio, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Retell, webhooks and REST APIs.The integrations catalog includes tools and connectors for MCP, Google Cloud, databases, search, observability, and third-party services.
LicenseThe public self-hosted deployment files are Apache-2.0 licensed, while the Falcon Builder container images have a separate end-user license. The Python ADK repository is licensed under the permissive Apache License 2.0.
SecurityThe enterprise page lists AES-256-GCM encrypted credentials, four role-based access roles, and organization policies and permissions; SSO/SAML and audit logs are marked coming soon. The security guidance covers identity and authorization, input and output guardrails, sandboxed code execution, and network controls.
Self-hostingFalcon Builder can run on customer infrastructure with Docker Compose, using customer-controlled databases, storage and AI keys. The framework can be containerized and operated on infrastructure chosen by the developer without changing agent code.
SupportThe pricing page lists email support for each plan, with priority support for Business and Enterprise. The site links to community resources and says Google and the ADK team do not support the content in external community resources.
What it doesFalcon Builder is a no-code platform for creating, deploying and monitoring production AI agents and workflow automations.ADK is Google's open-source framework for building, debugging, evaluating and deploying production AI agents and multi-agent systems.

In their own words

Falcon Builder

Falcon Builder is a no-code platform for creating and deploying AI agents as hosted chat, forms, website chat widgets, WhatsApp, or SMS experiences. Users can start from natural-language instructions, adapt templates, or build workflows with drag-and-drop nodes, code, APIs, and databases. AI Wingman can add nodes, adjust configurations, help debug, and explain workflow logic in conversation. The workflow engine provides execution history, error handling, retries, replay, and debugging. Listed connections include Outlook, Twilio, Retell, GoHighLevel, Google Sheets, databases, AWS S3, REST APIs, and webhooks; model providers include OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, and Ollama. A Slack review workflow can let a teammate approve or revise a draft before execution continues. The Free plan includes up to five workflows and 250 executions per month. Pro costs $29 a month; Business costs $249 a month. It supports web and API use.

Google Agent Development Kit

Google Agent Development Kit (ADK) is an open-source framework for building, debugging, evaluating, and deploying AI agents. It is available in Python, TypeScript, Go, Java, and Kotlin. Graph-based workflows can combine deterministic code with adaptive AI reasoning, and hierarchical agents can delegate work to specialized agents. ADK supports Gemini and adapters for other model providers, including locally running models. Its integrations catalog includes tools and connectors for MCP, Google Cloud, databases, search, observability, and third-party services. Teams can create multi-turn evaluation datasets and run evaluations locally through the CLI or development UI. ADK also supports live agents with bidirectional text and audio streaming, manages session context, and connects to longer-term memory services. Deployment options include Google Cloud Agent Runtime, Cloud Run, GKE, container-friendly infrastructure, and local Docker or Podman environments. Security guidance covers identity, authorization, guardrails, sandboxed code execution, and network controls. ADK is free; model and cloud-service use may require separate access or billing. Agent Config is narrower: it currently supports only Gemini models and requires Python.
