Howbout
Howbout is a social planning and calendar app for coordinating time with friends, family, roommates, and other groups. Its shared calendar shows whether friends are free, busy, or possibly available on a proposed date. Plans include a name, place, time, RSVP details, and reminders, with a chat for messages, photos, videos, GIFs, tickets, and other information. You can share plans with Friends, Close Friends, or only yourself. Invitations and plan changes generate notifications, while reminders and home-screen widgets keep details visible. Howbout connects directly to Google Calendar and can sync through a phone’s native calendar, including Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, and Outlook. Events can be exported to the native calendar and shared with calendar apps when export is enabled. The app runs on Android and iOS. The Free plan costs nothing; Howbout+ adds premium customization and additional planning features, with prices varying by country and platform.
