OpenCode

OpenCode is an open source AI coding agent for working in a terminal, IDE, or desktop app. It provides chat assistance, agent mode, terminal access, and codebase indexing, and supports more than 75 LLM providers as well as local models. The software can load language servers for the selected model and coordinate multiple agents on one project. Editor extensions are listed for Visual Studio Code, Cursor, Zed, Windsurf, and VSCodium; GitHub and GitLab integrations are also available. Users can share session links, while conversations are private by default. OpenCode says it does not store code or context data. The free plan includes the open source agent and free models, or users can connect a model provider. OpenCode Go costs $10 a month and lists usage limits of $12 per 5 hours, $30 per week, and $60 per month. The site recommends WSL for Windows users for performance and full feature compatibility.
