Favicon & App Icon Generator vs favicon-creator

Favicon & App Icon Generator converts PNG, JPG, and GIF files into Windows ICO favicons and app icons for web, Android, Microsoft, and iOS projects. You can choose a single 16x16 favicon or preserve the source image’s dimensions instead of making it square. The online editor supports creating icons from scratch and adjusting generated ones with Draw, Pixel Colour, Eraser, and Reset Editor tools; JavaScript is required to use it. A public gallery is available for icons users choose to submit, with browsing by keyword, letter, and color. Generated files must be downloaded and uploaded to your own server, as the site does not host them for inline linking. Its about page provides HTML link elements for placing a favicon in a page’s document head. The Free plan costs nothing and includes image conversion, the editor, and downloads. The site also offers account registration for discussion forums and premium site features.

favicon-creator has no write-up on Specifiction yet; its figures are above.
