In their own words

Feedly

Feedly combines a news reader with AI-powered threat intelligence and market intelligence products. Its News Reader gathers followed news sites, blogs, industry publications, email newsletters, and Google News feeds in one place. Readers can search across sources, save articles to Boards, add notes, and highlight text. Threat Intelligence helps CTI teams collect threat signals, investigate them with Ask AI, and deliver tailored intelligence. Feedly says its Intel Agents gather signals from more than 10,000 trusted clear and dark web sources, and that citations connect AI responses to their original sources. Market Intelligence uses AI Feeds, trend dashboards, insights cards, and Ask AI to help teams discover and share industry intelligence. Listed integrations include Cortex XSOAR, MISP, OpenCTI, Microsoft Sentinel, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Zapier, Dropbox, Evernote, and OneNote. Feedly documents REST APIs for sharing intelligence and Feed, Search, and STIX APIs for retrieving content. It is available on Android, iOS, web, browser extension, and API. The free News Reader plan includes up to three personal Boards; paid access starts at $7/mo. Market Intelligence Standard is $1,600 a month and Advanced is $2,400 a month, both billed annually.

Fluent Reader

Fluent Reader is a free, open-source news aggregator and RSS reader for desktop, built for local, distraction-free reading. Its built-in article view handles RSS full text and can use Mercury Parser to load full text; webpages can also open inside the app or externally. Search spans titles and article contents, with regular expressions available for searches and rules that can mark, hide, or star articles. Subscriptions can be grouped, imported or exported as OPML, and included in backups. Desktop versions are distributed for Windows, macOS, and Linux. It supports Inoreader, Feedbin, and services compatible with Fever or Google Reader API, alongside listed compatibility with services such as FreshRSS, Miniflux, The Old Reader, BazQux Reader, and Tiny Tiny RSS. Fluent Reader Lite offers iOS TestFlight access and Android APK downloads. The project says it does not collect, store, or share personal information. However, a connected RSS service may see activity through its API, and connecting one removes local articles with matching source URLs while retaining rules and preferences.
