Overview

Founded in 2011, TestingBot brings automated, live manual, visual and AI-assisted testing into one cloud grid. The combination lets teams use one service for different kinds of checks across web and mobile, rather than limiting their workflow to browser automation alone. Real iOS and Android devices are included in the paid tiers described below.

Key features

TestingBot supports Selenium, Appium, Playwright, Cypress, Puppeteer, Espresso, XCUITest and Maestro. This breadth suits teams already using one of these frameworks, and avoids tying the service to a single test runner. Automated tests can run in parallel, with concurrency controlled in test configuration or a CI pipeline; the available parallel capacity depends on the plan.

Integrations include Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CircleCI, Azure DevOps, Bamboo, TeamCity, Travis CI, Jira and Slack. A public REST API and webhooks provide options for custom connections. For organizations with data-handling requirements, TestingBot says it is GDPR-compliant by design and CSA STAR Level 1 registered. Sessions use isolated machines or devices wiped after testing; logs, videos, screenshots and artifacts are stored and processed in EU datacenters, with AES-256 encryption at rest and TLS 1.2 or later in transit.

Pricing

TestingBot has a free plan and a 14-day trial. The paid plans use different billing structures, so compare the term and testing allowance rather than relying on the entry-price headline alone. Testing time is a consequential limit: when a monthly allowance runs out, tests stop until the next billing month or an upgrade.

Live: 20.00 EUR per year, billed annually, or €30 month-to-month. It includes unlimited live and visual testing, real iOS and Android devices, and 24x7 email, chat and Slack support. This suits teams primarily doing manual and visual checks; it does not include an automated-minute allowance.
Automated: 50.00 EUR per year, billed annually, or €70 month-to-month. It adds 1,000 automated minutes per month while retaining unlimited live and visual testing, real devices and 24x7 support. The monthly quota makes it a fit for modest automation workloads, but teams with heavier execution needs may hit the stop-running limit.
Pay As You Go: 60.00 EUR per once, a one-time payment for 1,000 testing minutes and one parallel session. At €0.06 per minute, the minutes never expire and cover automated, manual, visual and AI testing. It suits occasional use where a recurring subscription is undesirable, but the single-session limit restricts concurrent work.
Automated Pro: 90.00 EUR per year, billed annually, or €120 month-to-month. It includes unlimited automated, live and visual testing, real devices and 24x7 support. This is the clearest fit for sustained automation that would outgrow the 1,000-minute monthly allowance on Automated.
Enterprise: custom pricing, with unlimited testing, 10+ parallel tests, single sign-on, priority support and private cloud availability. It is aimed at organizations needing higher concurrency or private-cloud deployment. On-premise deployments are not supported.

Support is listed as 24x7 by email, chat and Slack for Live, Automated and Automated Pro. The listed plan details do not establish that the same support arrangement applies to Pay As You Go.

Platforms

TestingBot covers Android, iOS, Linux, macOS, Windows, web and API testing. Real-device access strengthens the mobile offer, while the browser and desktop platform range serves cross-environment checks. Enterprise private cloud is an option, but organizations requiring an on-premise installation should look elsewhere.

Who it's for

TestingBot is best for software teams that need both browser and mobile testing, want to retain established frameworks, and value CI integration and parallel execution. Live fits manual and visual testing; Automated is better for a smaller recurring automation workload; Automated Pro removes the stated monthly automated-time cap. Teams that need a fixed number of parallel sessions at lower cost, or need on-premise hosting, should weigh those constraints before committing.

Pros and cons

Pro: Four testing modes, broad framework support and real iOS and Android devices let teams cover varied workflows in one service.
Pro: Named CI, issue-tracking and messaging integrations, plus an API and webhooks, support integration with existing delivery workflows.
Pro: EU data processing and storage, stated encryption standards, and isolated, wiped test environments address concrete security concerns.
Con: Automated minutes are capped at 1,000 per month on Automated, and tests stop when a monthly allowance is exhausted.
Con: Pay As You Go is limited to one parallel session, which may slow teams that need concurrent runs.
Con: Private cloud is available for Enterprise, but on-premise deployment is not.

Alternatives

CloudQA may suit teams wanting a free starting point for automated test creation and local execution, unlimited API tests, seven days of history and Chrome coverage.

Teams centered on visual testing can consider Percy, whose Desktop plan includes 10,000 screenshots per month for 199.00 USD per month, billed annually, or Desktop & Mobile with 25,000 screenshots per month for 599.00 USD per month, billed annually. For browser checks across a freemium offering, Browserling has a Starter plan at 9.00 USD per month billed annually, with Windows 10, Chrome and Edge; its page also shows $12.

Happo is another visual-testing option: its free plan includes 5,000 snapshots per month, Chrome, and visual and accessibility testing, with no credit card or time limit. Teams looking for a device-farm platform from an EPAM-created product may consider Mobitru. Testsigma is a paid alternative with a free plan and a Test Management Pro price of 14.00 USD per month, stated as $14 per user per month.

BrowserStack Automate is a paid option for teams that do not need a free plan; its Chrome plan is 59.00 USD per month, billed annually, for one parallel test. For broader category browsing, see Browser Testing Software, Device Farm Software, Mobile App Testing Software and Browser Automation Tools.

Verdict

Choose TestingBot if your team needs a shared cloud grid for browser and real-device testing, multiple test modes, and integration with an existing framework and CI pipeline. Its strongest reason to buy is that breadth; its main reasons to look elsewhere are the monthly testing-time ceiling on Automated and the absence of on-premise deployment.
