Smart Book is a CRM and field-service management platform for owner-led local service businesses, including lawn care, cleaning, property maintenance, pool service, HVAC and pest control. It manages customers, schedules, recurring work, estimates, invoices, reporting and field roles. Jobs can run once or recur weekly, bi-weekly, monthly or on a custom schedule. Estimates support line items and secure approval links; accepted work can become a job, with invoices tied to the client and job. Technicians use the My Day phone workflow to see assigned jobs, route order, directions, notes and attachments, then mark starts and completions. Stripe connections support invoice payments, saved cards and AutoPay when enabled and authorized; processing fees are separate. The Whole Crew plan costs $30 a month or $300 a year, both with unlimited team members and owner, admin, dispatcher and technician roles. A 7-day trial is available, but there is no free plan.
