| Deployment | FiloDB is deployed as standalone processes in a cluster and requires Java, Cassandra, Kafka, Rust, and a C compiler to build; SBT is also listed as a build prerequisite. | OneTick can be deployed on premises, hosted on OneMarketData private or public cloud, or run in a hybrid configuration. |
| Integrations | The README describes using FiloDB as a Grafana data source through its Prometheus-compatible HTTP API and identifies Cassandra as its persistence store. | The platform connects to market data vendors through standard APIs and its Python interface supports packages including Matplotlib, NumPy, Pandas, and Jupyter notebooks. |
| Product | FiloDB is an open-source distributed, real-time, in-memory time-series, event, and operational database with Prometheus query support. | OneTick is a time-series tick data platform for capturing, storing, and analyzing financial data such as prices, trades, and order books. |
| Support | The repository invites contributions; it does not state a paid support plan on the README page. | OneMarketData offers professional services from a global team of market data technology specialists to assist with implementation and integration. |

In their own words
FiloDB
FiloDB is a free, Apache-2.0 open-source database for distributed, real-time time-series, event, and operational data. It is designed to ingest and query many millions of time series, sharding data across processes with distributed querying. Columnar compression and off-heap memory management support substantial in-memory storage while reducing garbage collection. PromQL is available through an HTTP API and command-line interface; the README describes support as about 60%. Histograms are a first-class column type, with the project reporting possible compression and query-speed improvements of up to two orders of magnitude. Typical ingestion uses Apache Kafka, while the Gateway accepts Influx Line Protocol over TCP. Grafana can connect through the Prometheus-compatible API, and Cassandra is identified as the persistence store. Deployment uses clustered standalone processes and requires Java, Cassandra, Kafka, Rust, a C compiler, and SBT to build.
OneTick
OneTick is an enterprise platform for capturing tick data, managing it, and using it for streaming analytics and research. Its tools support historical simulations, back-tests, trading and market-making strategies, transaction-cost models, and real-time surveillance across equities, fixed income, futures, FX, options, and full order-book data. OneTick states that it has no limits on data volumes, peak rates, or stored-history length. OneTick Cloud provides Python, SQL, and REST API access, visual dashboards, and CSV and Parquet file access. Its global equities, futures, and options coverage spans more than 200 markets, with historical data reaching back decades. Machine-learning event processors support training, prediction, evaluation, and real-time learning, including support vector machines and k-means clustering. Deployments can be on-premise, in OneMarketData private or public cloud, or hybrid. Pricing is on request, and a 30-day trial is listed. Installing the Python package requires credentials from a OneMarketData representative.
